Abstract: The European exchanges are in a development process that means consolidation through mergers and acquisitions and also, innovation of structured and derivatives products. The Romanian capital market has a marginal position on European continent because of its small dimensions and modest offer of derivatives products. Some steps have been made in the development process in Romania, but some measures must be taken in the future: the launch of commodities derivatives, the calculation of new stock indices and mergers between the Romanian exchanges.

Abstract: Natural images recognition is an important area of machine vision. This paper presents a novel approach for natural images recognition, based on the non-Gaussian distribution property of natural images. In this new method for recognition, first supervised classification is conducted to the natural images based on their label value, then independent components linear transforms are conducted to each category of samples, high-dimensional data are transformed to irrelevant independent components, and finally the probability distance between independent component subspaces is used for unsupervised classification. This classification tree also shows some features of signal processing of biological optic nerve. Experiment on ORL Face Database identity recognition shows that this method is featuring high recognition rate and low time consumption; meanwhile, another experiment is conducted on direction determination of intelligent robots autonomous navigation, also produci!
ng a good result.

Abstract: Irregular distribution of precipitation in time and space in north part of Iran results in frequent flooding. Two extreme floods have occurred in north eastern part of Iran in year 2001 and 2002 (August) which had not been reported till that time. These catastrophes resulted in loss of human and properties. In spite of research and executive works on floods, still flooding occurs in northern part of Iran. Therefore flood disaster management and flood prevention must be revised in this region. Due to insufficient gauging stations in this region, regional flood frequency analysis was applied. For each homogenous region flood model for different return period was developed. Percent areas of NDVI classes besides other parameters were used in developing models as independent variables. The result showed influence of this parameter on flood in some return period.

Abstract: Landslides are significant natural hazards in southern hilly region parts of India with respect to economic losses and casualties. The work presented in this paper is to use of remote sensing and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) technology for developing techniques for landslide susceptibility mapping using Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP) and assessed the accuracy of hazard map with artificial neural networks model. The AHP method assigns scores to each landslide causing factors of micro-topography of landslide-prone areas identified in aerial photographs, and assesses the susceptibility of landslide from the total score. The landslide-related factors (slope, aspect, curvature, topographic type, soil, rainfall, geology and land use) were extracted from the spatial database. Using those factors, landslide susceptibility was analyzed by artificial neural network (ANN) methods. For this, the weights of each factor were determined by the back propagation ne!
twork, which is a type of artificial neural network method. Then the landslide susceptibility indexes were calculated and the susceptibility maps were made with a GIS program The results of the landslide susceptibility maps were verified and compared using landslide location data. A GIS was used to efficiently analyze the vast amount of data, and an artificial neural network was turned out be an effective tool to maintain precision and accuracy.

Abstract: : This article proposes, a reconfigurable FEC system based on Reed-Solomon codec for DVB and WiMax networks. The proposed architecture implements various programmable primitive polynomials. A lot of VLSI implementations have been described in literature. This paper introduces a highly parametrical RS-coder-decoder on FPGAs. The implementation, written in a hardware description language (HDL), is based on an Berlekamp massey, Chain and Formey Algorithms. We have defined an advanced RS encoder-decoder architecture based on parameterization approach which is a key solution for software defined radio (SDR) systems. Our parameterization approach is used in order to implement on FPGA a generic RS coder-decoder for DVB and WiMax networks. IEEE Std. 802.16 specifies that the codec performs a variable number of check symbols in a codeword ( ranges from 0 to 32, inclusive). The value of check symbols are specified for each burst profile by the MAC layer according to cross !
layer concept.

Abstract: The IT revolution has encompassed within its realm the electrical power sector by the application of Intelligence in Metering, Protection, Monitoring and Control. The amalgamation of communication and IT has made it possible for a Real time IT systems to monitor and control, from a central place, by SCADA for the operation of Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution. A hierarchical structure exists in the transmission and distribution of power since the power is received at a high voltage level in a substation and delivered to a load center through another substation at reduced voltage level. These substations are being transformed from hardwired configurations to a networked platform by leveraging the technological advancements. The technological transformations have brought within its purview Comprehensive Automation of Substation. This paper brings out the current trend in communication & systems in Substation Automation IEC61850 Standard along with!
its benefits. Also, this paper highlights the case study of a real time process control scheme.

Abstract: The amount of software has increased in several products. Software projects have become more complex and their management requires significant amount of skills from every project manager. The amount of available resources, strict budgets, cost control and need for accurate reporting and documentation as well as good quality are part of every project managers' life. As business challenges project managers more and more it would be useful to know what areas of project management create biggest value to the projects. Value Engineering has been a usable method for developing high value products for several years. It has been applied successfully to software processes as well as to software product development. This research analyses the value of project management using Value Engineering based value assessment. This is done in part by defining the concepts of value, worth, cost and in part by outlining the Value Engineering process with project management practices. !
The practical industrial case shows that there is big variety in value between typical project management tasks. It also shows that value of project management tasks can be improved using value Engineering based value assessment.

Abstract: A new procedure is presented for the synthesis of linear multivariable system subjected to plant model perturbations. Multiplicative perturbation is used to model the plant uncertainty. The controller has been designed by taking the plant perturbations. Robust stability is achieved by integral feedforward compensation and control law was synthesized such that the controlled system would maintain the system performance and the tracking of the error signals with plant perturbations in the steady state. The procedure simultaneously ensures conditions for a variety of specific design goals such as 1) closed loop stability, 2) static decoupling with complete and arbitrary closed loop pole placement, and 3) dynamic decoupling. The compensation scheme is presented in the frequency domain.

Abstract: LVDS has become a popular choice for high-speed serial links in large-sized display units. This work presents the design and implementation of I/O interface circuits for Gbps operation which is fully complied with the IEEE STD. 1596.3 (LVDS). A step-down voltage regulator is employed to reject the noise coupled in the system power supply. A DC biasing circuitry is utilized in the transmitter to stabilize the common mode voltage in a pre-defined range. Additionally, a regenerative circuit provides a positive feedback loop gain between the cascaded preamplifiers and the output buffer in the receiver. A typical 0.25 um 1P5M CMOS technology is used to realize the proposed LVDS transceiver. The data rate has been justified on silicon to be 1.0 Gbps.

Secondly, a general decision model of an agent is established and the condition that an agent is just at the edge of chaos is defined. Thirdly, making use of Langton¡¯s coefficient widely used in the research on cellular automata, the paper defines the edge of chaos that describes the decision behavior of agent. Finally, the paper conducts an evolutionary artificial life experiment. Then the connection between the behavior at the edge of chaos and the individual adaptability is illustrated.

Abstract: All of us know the earth magnetic field come to be less and this problem can be a serious problem in future but now we find other problems that can destroy our planet life or in minimum state can damage it such as FTE theory , solar activities , reversing magnetic poles, increasing speed of reversing that last reverse, reducing magnetic strength ,finding leaks in magnetosphere ,etc. some of these reasons will be factors for increasing the solar energy that hit to the Earth and perhaps changing in our life and conditions of the Earth . In this paper , I try to show a way to against to these problems and reduce their damages to the Earth perhaps The Earth will repair himself but this repair need many time that humans could not be wait. In the past time magnetic field was reversed but now we are against to the other problems that can increase the influence of reversing magnetic field for the Earth and all these events can be a separated problem for us, these pr!
oblem may be can not destroyed humans life but can be cause of several problems that occur for our healthy and our technology in space. This way is building a system that produce a new magnetic field that will be in one way with old magnetic field this system will construe by superconductors and a metal that is not dipole. This paper explain all the problems in addition to the way of repair their damages on the Earth and show the suitable shape of system that can help us for future programs .

Abstract: Abstract:-A new hybrid-drive system taking flywheel energy storage system instead of chemical battery as assistant power source for hybrid electric vehicle is put forward. According to the particular energy characteristics of flywheel system, an energy management strategy based on fuzzy logic control is also developed with overall consideration on the optimization of both ICE (Intenal Combustion Engine) and ISG (Integrated Started Generator). The strategy determines the optimal torque distribution between ICE and ISG through inputs of rotary speed of flywheel, rotary speed of ICE crankshaft and travel of accelerator pedal or brake pedal. Simulation results indicate that flywheel energy storage system is quite suitable for hybrid electric vehicle and with fuzzy logic control strategy both the performance of ICE and ISG are optimized that reduces fuel consumption of vehicle to greater extent.

Abstract: Regularly millions of data is being collected and warehoused. These data contains very useful information, such as, ATM transactions, credit card bills, emails, advertising campaigns etc. Competitors always having dream to get extracted knowledge from it. Although, analysis on customer relationship is getting more realistic and interesting factor for the augmentation of every organization similarly, finding the hidden gold is also promoting for the success of organization. The major critical success factor for any Customer Relationship Management (CRM) includes, Relationship Management, Sales Management, Use of Technology, Opportunity Management etc. In this paper we proposed, analyzed and validated that data mining is also a major success factor in the success of CRM. We first proposed the CRM model and then described the main role of each characteristic, further more, we applied data mining techniques for the generation of new rules and patterns. Most of the orga!
nization only put their stress on the competitive forces, sales forces, advertising campaign, marketing strategies and management of customer services. But behind of these all circumstances they are storing a huge data in their databases. We discussed and evaluated that after implementation of CRM strategies in a organization why the problem is continuing and what will be the positive effect after implementation of data mining. And in which manner data mining techniques can be applied in the CRM model.

Abstract: Microfinance business is a prevailing business in third world countries and proves beneficial to improve economies of the country. In our paper we conceived and designed some algorithms by using data mining techniques to have general micro currency exchange businesses for a developing country. Our algorithm process two years historical records of currency rates and applies data mining techniques i.e. Median Method and Rise & Fall Method with probabilistic approach conceived by us. It can apply to N year's data with unless desired results are achieved. This is to give best choice to micro currency business men to take decision to buy or sell currency. Some previous currency rates (i.e. Ups & Down) are also recorded from a popular bank of Canada & currency open markets as a proof of concept using our algorithm. Our algorithm can be efficiently used by all those who wish to initialize a small business (Cottage Industries) with a profitable income with less investment!
. We guarantee them to successfully launch their businesses with trust and courage.

Abstract: In this paper, a neural network model of the proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells is proposed. Various ANN approaches have been tested; the back-propagation feed-forward networks show satisfactory performance with regard to cell voltage prediction. The model is then used in a power system for residential application. The models of fuel cell system proposed include an ANN fuel cell stack model, reformer model and DC/AC inverter model. Furthermore a fuzzy logic (FLC) controller is used to control active power of PEM fuel cell system. The controller modifies the hydrogen flow feedback from the terminal load. Simulation results confirmed the high performance capability of the fuzzy logic controller to control power generation.

Abstract: Medical diagnosis is considered an art regardless of all standardization efforts made, which is greatly due to the fact that medical diagnosis necessitates an expertise in coping with uncertainty simply not found in today's computing machinery. The researchers are encouraged by the advancement in computer technology to develop software to assist doctors in making decision without necessitating the direct consultation with the specialists. The neural network algorithms can possibly give good solutions to medical problems. In this paper, application of artificial intelligence in typical disease Hepatitis B diagnosis has been investigated. In this research, an intelligent system based on logical inference along with a radial basis function network is presented for the diagnosis. An expert system based on logical inference is used to decide what type of hepatitis is possible to appear for a patient, whether it is Hepatitis B or not. Then artificial neural networks wil!
l be used in order to do the predictions regarding hepatitis B. The Radial Basis Function (RBF) network structure trained by Orthogonal Least Square (OLS) algorithm is applied to hepatitis data for predictions. Results obtained show that radial basis function network can be successfully used for diagnosing hepatitis B. The role of effective diagnosis and the advantages of data training on neural networks-based automatic medical diagnosis system are suggested by the outcomes.

Abstract: In order to increase the output efficiency of a photovoltaic generates system it is important to have an efficient Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm. The constant voltage (CV) method is impossible to exact acquire the maximum power (MP) point because of some problems is not be resolved, i.e., the efficiency is very low, and only one maximum power point (MPP) is tracked in the whole tracking course. Theoretical and simulative results show that the optimal output voltage is changing with the weather. This paper describes a new variable voltage MPPT algorithm based on the actual n and Io, which is combined perturb and observe (PO) method in order to acquire the actual diode factor and reverse saturation current. The proposed control scheme and the Sepic converter are used to verify the correctness and validity of MPPT algorithm.

Abstract: In this paper, the RFID middleware system that can process bulk data in real time has been designed and implemented. The characteristics of this middleware system support the following points: Expandability and integration of infrastructure, processing the bulk data coming from heterogenous readers in real time, management of the integrate process, Java based XML, and lightweight-oriented technology for speedy and efficient performance. Also a filter file managing process(XML Process) is designed to process bulk data in real time. With this processor in place, the middleware can run without any problem even when several clients from many locations get connected to the server at the same time. The RFID middleware system consists of reader interface, event manager, application interface, and an adapter for heterogenous readers. In the integrated function test of the RFID middleware system, the system showed a stable performance in processing even thousands of filter!
ing and tag data per second, and was able to process the bulk tag data from heterogeneous readers in real time. Also from the test of the implemented filtering management system interlocked with the RFID middleware and the client, it was confirmed that the RFID middleware and the filtering management system ran properly.

Abstract: Ferroresonance has more damaging effects on transformers and other equipments in distribution networks such as oscillating over voltages and over currents, distortion in voltage and current waveforms, transformer heating, loud noise due to magnetostriction and mal-operation of the protective devices. This paper proposes a novel method for identification of Ferroresonance in distribution networks. Using this method Ferroresonance can be discriminate from other transients such as capacitor switching, load switching, transformer switching. Wavelet transform is used for decomposition of signals and Competitive Neural Network is implemented for Ferroresonance identification. Ferroresonance data and other transients are obtained by simulation of a real 20kV distribution feeder using Electromagnetic Transient Program (EMTP). Abstract: In this paper, a preliminary result about the melancholia diagnosis scheme based on the analyses of depression questionnaire and the meridian energy of human body using CMAC (Cerebellar Model Articulation Controller) neural network approach is proposed. Firstly, a large amount data obtained from hospital, recorded the aged patients¡¦ depression rating scales and the 12 sets meridian energy signals, are sieved out three disease groups¡¦ patterns. Assuming the recorded data can describe the necessary features of the melancholia patient. Then, we built a CMAC neural network to learn the melancholia features depending on the three disease groups¡¦ patterns. By the sufficient training, the diagnosis architecture will memorize the features of the selected melancholia patient patterns. Finally, the built diagnosis system can used to diagnose the depression scale by inputting the 12 sets meridian energy signals of human body into CMAC neural network. To benefit the pattern!
collection, re-training, diagnosis and the data analyses, a PC-based friendship operation interface is developed in this paper also. Such as the function of new pattern addition, retraining, and the memory weights distribution plots are appeared in the interface.

Abstract: Land cover mapping is very important for evaluating natural recourses, understanding the societal and business activities. The remote sensing techniques provide effective and efficient methods to create such maps. To high spatial resolution imagery such as SPOT5 imagery, the land cover classification precision will be improved with the knowledge, Digital Elevation Model (DEM) data and the spatial information such as texture and. Both the pixel-based classification method based on the knowledge rule and the object-oriented fuzzy classification methods have been studied in this paper using SPOT5 high spatial resolution imagery. Some GIS dataset and the texture are integrated into the two knowledge-based classifications in this paper. And the result of accuracy assessment indicates that the two classifications can catch good classification precision, but the objected-oriented classification method does better. Besides, the shape and context information can be used ful!
ly to distinguish the roads from the buildings with the objected-oriented fuzzy classification method, which is hard to accomplish in pixel-based classification. Furthermore, the objected-oriented classification method is more suitable in land cover mapping due to its meaningful objects.

Abstract: Image texture analysis has received a considerable amount of attention over the last few years as it has played an important role in the classification of the remote sensing images. This paper provides an overview of several different approaches to image texture analysis and demonstrates their use on the problem of land cover classification. We used grey level co-occurrence matrix (GLCM) method to assistant the land cover classification and then compared and evaluated all of the result of classifications. In the experimentation, by comparing the classification result of contrast, energy and entropy we find out that the preferable texture features of grey level co- occurrence matrices method was contrast. In this thesis, it used the feature images helping the classification of remote sensing and obtained good result. And it also used C++ programming language to write a programme to compute the number of the feature of texture.

Abstract: : Land consolidation is a tool for increasing the area of the arable land and improving the effectiveness of land cultivation. With the development of high resolution image, the progress of land consolidation project can be monitored by acquiring information from the image objectively. This paper presents a method to extract the wells and roads in land consolidation project from high resolution images. The well extraction method is based on the gray-level template matching algorithm. The road extraction method is based on mathematical morphology, which is a method for detecting image components that are useful for representation and description. The vector planning maps and high resolution images used to monitor the completion of land consolidation project are registered. The candidate areas are created using the functions of buffer and extraction by mask in GIS. The well template is selected manually from the image. The template is used to find the wells which mat!
ch the template perfectly. In the road extraction section, Top-hat transform and gray dilation are used to filter the noise of the image. In this way the road feature in the image became wider and even more obvious to be recognized. Then image binarization and thinning algorithm are used to extract the one-pixel centerline of the road. At last, the thinning results are converted to the final vector detection results.

Abstract: Soil environmental quality is the capacity of a soil to function, within ecosystem and land use boundaries, to sustain biological productivity, maintain environmental quality, and promote plant, animal and human health'. In the long-term, vegetative rehabilitation of mining wastes aims at, as far as possible, the proper ecological integration of the reclaimed area into the surrounding landscape, which is sustainable and requires minimal maintenance. This article presents here an indicator-based system of soil environmental quality that evaluates sustainable rehabilitation of mine waste through a set of 2 subindicators, chemical fertility and stocks of organic matter, and further combines them into a single general Indicator of Soil Quality (GISQ). The design and calculation of the indicators were based on sequences of multivariate analyses. Principal component analysis (PCA) was used to assess soil quality overall. A GISQ combined the different subindicators provid!
ing a global assessment of soil environmental quality. Our findings provide evidence that selected indicators can provide a definitive, quantitative assessment of soil environmental quality and lend credence to the value of our approach in quantifying relationships between soil function and indicators for specific areas.

Abstract: Land rehabilitation is being carried out throughout the whole country. But in many areas, the main purpose of land rehabilitation is to increase the overall cultivated land area which neglects the eco-construction. Important tasks of modern landscape ecology are to monitor and assess natural resources, to examine the impacts and effects of human intervention and, last but not least, to observe the state of the environment over long periods of time. The objective of this research was to create a method for land rehabilitation project using landscape ecology by combining Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Landscape Ecology Analysis (LEA). GIS technologies were developed for the digital preparation and analysis of historical maps, and subsequent digital land use mapping. The landscape spatial pattern and influence on landscape were expressed by dominance index, contagion index, cohesion index, etc. Applying those landscape ecology indexes landscape spatial pat!

Abstract: Land cover classification with a high accuracy is necessary, especially in waste dump area, accurate land cover information is very important to eco-environment research, vegetation condition study and soil recovery destination. Funded by the international cooperation project Novel Indicator Technologies for Minesite Rehabilitation and sustainable development, a hierarchical object oriented land cover classification is produced in this study. The ample spectral information, textural information, structure and shape information of high resolution SPOT 5 imagery are used synthetically in this method. There are two steps in object oriented information extraction: image segmentation and classification. First, the image is segmented using chessboard segmentation and multi-resolution segmentation method. Second, NDVI is used to distinguish vegetation and non-vegetation; vegetation is classified as high density vegetation, middling density vegetation and low density veget!
ation using spectral information, object oriented image texture analysis; non-vegetation is classified as vacant land and main road using length/width. Accuracy assessment indicate that this hierarchical method can be used to do land cover classification in waste dump area, the total accuracy increases to 86.53%, and Kappa coefficient increases to 0.7907.

Abstract: With the rapid growth of Internet technology, data security protection has become an important issue. As a tool for improving the effectiveness of land cultivation, land consolidation plays an important role in enlarging farming plots and enhancing crop productivity. To fulfill land consolidation, more and more remote sensing images are widely used. This paper presents a LSB watermarking algorithm to protect the images data security. In the proposed scheme, the land reorganization planning map is embedded into a remote sensing image of the same area for information security and copyright protection. Before being embedded, the land reorganization planning map is compressively encoded. The contradiction between large information quantity and invisibility of digital water marking is perfectly eliminated. To avoid the shortcoming of being easily attacked in the original LSB method, the host image is preprocessed by exclusive-OR (XOR) operation. That is, the value of th!
e least significant bit is decided by the XOR result of the first several bits. The watermark signal is embedded into the LSB of the processed host image by XOR operation. Moreover, by applying an optimal adjustment process, the watermarked image has the ability of distortion tolerance. The experimental results fully illustrate that the embedded watermark is not only imperceptible to the human eyes, but also has better security in the statistical sense. Moreover, the proposed scheme is superior in terms of its distortion tolerance.
