Abstract: Individual¡¦s behavior on privacy protecting is affected by not only the personal psychological factors, but also the external influences. However, the latter was always ignored in previous researches. For investigating how the external factors affect one¡¦s privacy concern on privacy protection and restrain related behavior, this study applied perceived behavior control to modifying previous privacy model. In the meantime, a hypothesized model was proposed to interpret how internal and external factors influenced individual¡¦s behavior on privacy-protecting. The result of this study also indicated the significant relationships between personal privacy perception and perceived behavioral control.
