Abstract: Self-disclosure online is an issue of increasing importance. And individual¡¦s behavior on self-disclosure online is affected by not only the personal psychological factors, but also individual¡¦s computer competence and ability. However, the latter was always ignored in previous researches. For investigating how the technological and psychological factors simultaneously affect one¡¦s privacy concern and restrain the behavior on disclosure, this study applies computer self-efficacy to modifying previous privacy model. In the meantime, a hypothesized model is proposed to interpret how psychological and technological factors influence individual¡¦s behavior on disclosure online. The result of this study indicates that individual¡¦s computer self-efficacy has significant relationships with personal privacy concern and the behavior on self-efficacy online.
