Abstract: Position detection of nodes in sensor network has a close relation with the methods of routing, position detection of moving targets and consuming energy. The existing localization algorithms use mathematical and statistical methods to increase the accuracy of location estimation of sensor nodes. Research shows that obtaining accurate results by using classical mathematic is very expensive. In this paper, we present a new method based on reinforcement learning algorithm in Learning Automata for localization nodes in sensor networks. In proposed algorithm, distance detection and nodes position estimation phases are used. Detection distance phase uses distance vector approach and nodes location estimation phase uses random Learning Automata with variable structure. Simulation result shows that the proposed algorithm has less error in node estimation location problem than APS (DV-distance), DV-Hop and PSO algorithms.
