Abstract: Abstractâ€" Substance transfer rate in the liquid-liquid extraction system was examined. The aim of this paper dynamic substance transfer at the methanol extraction from the liquid mixture by azeotrope was investigated. Diffusion coefficients for binary, ternary and quaternary liquid mixtures were determined taking into account activity coefficients and viscosity. This paper is the first report in the literature showing the substance transfer rate by azeotrope. The partial diffusivity of the multicomponent liquid mixture was studing according to the absolute rate theory. Investigations were performed by experiments and computer simulations.
