Abstract: The importance of security in mobile ad hoc networks has been recognized for many years, and many secure routing methods have been proposed in this field. This paper discusses major security attacks in mobile ad hoc networks and proposes a highly secure communication method that is based on a very efficient invitation process for handling new members. We also study and evaluate the method.
