Abstract: As a rapidly changing business environment, activities closer connected were involved in buyer-supplier relationship. Of the four aspects of integrating the supply chain (cash flow, material flow, product flow and information flow), integration of information flow is the single more crucial to coordinate activities and alliances in the supply chain. Yet there are unanswered questions about the extent to which the information exchanged is effective in the supply chain alliance. In this study, we adopted the "contingency theory" as the theoretical basis to study the impact of members of the supply chain between the organizations on the quality of information exchange, and the impact of the quality of inter-organizational sharing of information on the integrated supply chain performance.
Keywords: Supply Chain contingency factor, the quality of information sharing, visibility of information, transparency of information, integrated performance
