Abstract: Schema matchers have the task to find semantically related entities in various input schemas. The task is complex even by smaller schemas as it involves the evaluation of several schema attributes. Different solutions have been published throughout the last decade and though their performance is well above average, it may be further improved. This performance improvement constitutes the focal point of our researches. In this paper, we propose some techniques, which are able to carry out this task as well as a comparison among them. We are aimed at finding methods, which are applicable in different scenarios, consequently we propose methods which perform best under different circumstances.
