Abstract: Clients who visit an apparel marketing website but have little previous knowledge of fashions tend to have difficulties selecting clothes that suit their tastes. Faced with an immense number of products on display, they can become quite confused and even hesitate to make any selections at all. This study proposes a system that supports online purchases of garments with functions to select and recommend garments on the basis of the customerfs tastes. The system has three basic capabilities: (1) It analyzes the customerfs tastes using the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and selects and suggests clothes. (2) It designates a priority for suggesting the garments using correlations found by clustering. (3) It suggests second purchases of items that have been chosen by previous customers with similar tastes who bought a garment that the current online customer has just decided to buy. The second purchases are selected using market basket analysis. Two databases are!
essential to this process: one for the attributes of garments and one for simultaneous purchases of garments.

Abstract: The main Computational Intelligence (CI) models for personalization of interactive web systems are identified as Fuzzy Systems, Genetic Algorithms, Neural Networks, Artificial Immune Systems and Swarm Intelligence which includes Particle Swarm Optimization, Ant Colony Optimization, Bee Colony Optimization and Wasp Colony Optimization. These models are reviewed and compared regarding their inception, functions, performance and application to personalization of interactive web systems. A taxonomy for personalization of interactive web systems based on CI methods is proposed. It uses two approaches to personalize web-based systems as profile generation and profile exploitation. Based on this taxonomy a general procedure and recommendations for personalization of interactive web systems are suggested. Future directions for application of CI modelling for personalization are discussed.

Abstract: ESB is a core middleware technology which can support the integration of services according to the Service Oriented Architecture. A major responsibility of ESB is to route messages to heterogeneous services. However, conventional ESBs support only static routing, i.e. the service to which a message is sent must be fixed a priori. Thus, even if there are many services that can satisfy the same request, the request is always sent to the same service without considering the service status, e.g., load, at that time. This situation may lead to a low throughput performance on the service side and low satisfaction on the consumer side. This paper aims to enhance the ESB capability by supporting load balancing. Our approach focuses on balancing among a group of different services with the same function. We introduce the concept of service type and show the results of an experiment.

Abstract: We presented an application of nanometric layers of Cadmium Sulphide developed using Chemical Bath Deposition (CBD) technique for the growth of the CdS thin films. The thin films of CdS were synthesized employing two different complexing agent, acetilacetone and glycine. In this paper we compare the results of the thin films characterization with both complexing agent and the CdS thin film growth with glycine was selected in order to develop a Thin Film Transistor (TFT). The energy bandgaps in these cases were Eg = 2.53 eV using glycine as complexig agent, and Eg= 2.37eV using acetylacetone as complexing agent. An hexagonal polycrystalline structure concerning to the X-ray analysis results for both processes, from those studies were calculated their grain sizes by the model of Debye-Scherrer, resulting 3 nm for the acetylacetone process and 30 nm for the glycine process. Also we started with the computational analysis and preliminary results are presented.

Abstract: This paper introduces an empirical study conducted to investigate the use and effect of multimodal metaphors in e-learning applications. This investigation involved two different interface platforms performed by forty users. The first interface platform (textual interface), based on three input modalities, namely text, graphic, and speech, was used to deliver information about note-taking. The second platform interface (multimodal interface) was based on five input modalities, including; text, graphic, speech, avatar and earcons to deliver the same information. The aim of the experiment was to measure and compare the level of usability of textual and multimodal interfaces. The usability parameters, which are efficiency, effectiveness, and users' satisfaction, were considered in the experiment. The results obtained from this investigation have shown that the multimodal e-learning interface increased the level of usability as users took significantly less time to com!
plete the tasks, performed successfully in a higher number of tasks, and were more satisfied than when using the textual interface. Also, the results indicate that users most preferred the avatar as choice of input modality, while earcons were the second most preferred option for representing information. These input modalities could be used to improve the attractiveness of note taking which in turn will be reflected in increasing users' motivation and interest in the presented learning material.

Abstract: Philosophers and psychologists' arguments in the area of effective learning and HCI demonstrated that humour or entertainment is one of many important factors that help in developing improved learning. Accordingly students' performance increases in learning environment combined with amusement features. This work investigates the role of edutainment using avatars as tool to represent the entertainment attributes in an e-learning framework. The empirical investigation aimed at measuring usability of two experimental interfaces: typical e-learning and multimodal e-learning system. The usability of these two environments was analysed by one dependent group of users. The results presented here confirmed that edutainment interface as learning medium persuaded users more than the typical version.

Abstract: This paper focuses on developing an interchangeable electromagnetic contactor that essentially features with high power efficiency, low electromagnetic noise, and high power resource usage. The magnetic coils of this new IC-controlled method can be excited by AC or DC voltage and the range of the operating voltage is shown to be much larger than the conventional contactor. A wide range of applications for the new contactor is obtained. According to the electric performance requirement, the proposed controlling method, the pulse width modulation (PWM), provides a suitable energy for the exciting coils under the different operating condition. This is resulted in a stable operation between closing or opening process of the contactor greatly leads to the reduction of noise and energy loss for the exciting coils. Thus, the using life of the contactor can be greatly extended. In order to prove the validity of the proposed controlling method in this paper, several experi!
ments had been performed and the results are shown the feasibility and reliability of the new design.

Abstract: In this contribution a novel particle swarm optimization (PSO) based multiuser detector (MUD) aided time-hopping ultra-wide band (TH-UWB) system has been investigated in the indoor channel model. In this approach, the PSO based MUD employs the output of the Rake receiver as its initial value to search for the best solution which results on a formulated optimization mechanism. By taking advantage of the heuristic values and the collective intelligence of PSO technique, the proposed detector offers almost the same bit error rate (BER) performance as the full-search-based optimum multi-user detector does, while greatly reducing the potentially computational complexity. The good behavior of the proposed approach is demonstrated by means of comparisons in terms of BER performance and implementation complexity with the classical Rake receiver and different multi-user receivers previously proposed in the literature of this subject. Simulation results have been provided t!
o examine the evolutionary behavior and the detection performance of the proposed PSO based MUD in both the additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) and the multi-path fading channel.

Abstract: An exact analysis of the natural convection in unsteady Couette flow of a viscous incompressible fluid confined between two vertical parallel plates in the presence of thermal radiation is performed. The flow is induced by means of Couette motion and free convection currents occurring as a result of application of constant heat flux on the wall with a uniform vertical motion in its own plane while constant temperature on the stationary wall. The fluid considered here is a gray, absorbing-emitting but non-scattering medium, and the Rosseland approximation is used to describe the radiative heat flux in the analysis. The dimensionless governing partial differential equations are solved using Laplace transform technique. Numerical results for the velocity, the temperature, the skin-friction, the Nusselt number, the volume flow rate and the vertical heat flux are shown graphically. The effect of different parameters like thermal radiation parameter, Grashof number, Pran!
dtl number and time are discussed. It is observed that the momentum and thermal boundary layer thickness decreases owing to an increase in the value of the radiation parameter. An increase in the Grashof number is found to increase the velocity of air and water and to decrease the skin-friction at the moving plate.

Abstract: There are many types of switching and protection electrical apparatus used in different power systems with the goal to supply at adequate parameters industrial or domestic consumers. The time-current characteristics of the protection electrical apparatus from datasheets have accuracy up to ± 30%. Hence, in order to achieve a safe protection at overcurrents it is necessary to test the electrical apparatus using proper devices. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to present new types of modular current sources and some possibilities to adjust their parameters. Then, a method to obtain the time-current characteristics of low voltage high breaking capacity fuses without fusing is presented.

Abstract: This paper presents a new low-cost electronic control circuit actuator based on a microcontroller is proposed for minimizing the bouncing duration of an AC permanent magnet (PM) contactor after two mechanical contacts closing. The proposed new actuator overcomes the past bouncing problem of an uncontrollable restrictions imposed by previously conventional AC electromagnetic (EM) contactor. Systematically choosing an optimal closing phase angle of the coil voltage, the bouncing problems produced on EM contactor during the closing process are improved. Therefore, the using life of contactor contacts is then prolonged and their operating reliability is strengthened as well. To validate the feasibility of the proposed method, some simulation and experimental procedures were performed on a prototype of the proposed AC PM contactor in the laboratory. Testing results actually showed that bouncing duration of contactor¡¦s contacts after collision was reduced.

Abstract: Living in a residential high-rise is now becoming a lifestyle trend among the urban professional community in Malaysia. As opposed to a landed property, in a residential high-rise, residents must set up a Management Corporation (MC) to regulate and manage all the amenities provided by the developer, as stipulated in the Strata Title Act of 1985. To a certain extent, the idea seems to work successfully for about a few years after the housing schemes are granted with the final title. However, as time goes by and management becomes more ineffective, a gap grows between the residents and the council members of the MC, which is made up of a select group of residents. This research focuses on the indicators for sustainable facility management. We used residents' satisfaction levels as the primary measurement criteria used to identify and measure the gap between the residents and the Management Corporation, and we analyzed our data using ANOVA and MANOVA. Further analysis!
is conducted using the Bonferonni test to determine differences among groups of respondents. The findings of this research revealed that there were significant differences in terms of satisfaction between the Management Corporation and the residents, as the Management Corporation reported a higher level of satisfaction compared to the residents in every criterion.

Abstract: This paper evaluates the performance of multi-domain networks under the Generalized Multi-Protocol Label Switching control framework in case of a single inter-domain link failure. We propose and evaluate a routing protocol extension for the Border Gateway Protocol, which allows domains to obtain two Autonomous System disjoint paths and use them efficiently under failure conditions. Three main applications for the protocol extension are illustrated: reducing traffic loss on existing connections by exploiting pre-selected backup paths derived with our proposal, applying multi-domain restoration as survivability mechanism in case of single link failure, and employing proper failure notification mechanisms for routing of future connection requests under routing protocol re-convergence. Via simulations we illustrate the benefits of utilizing the proposed routing protocol extension for networks employing different resilient mechanisms (both protection and restoration), !
as well as for networks which have not employed any resiliency technique. We show the need for differentiated failure handling for improving network performance under failure situations. Furthermore, we draw parallel between different network parameters and the efficiency of the applied notification and survivability strategies in the network.

Abstract: In this paper, we evaluate and classify future service according to their requirements for delay, loss and bandwidth. The most demanding services include IPTV in different forms, hence IPTV is used as a representative for future services. Carrier Ethernet technologies are introduced with special focus on its OAM functionalities, and it is evaluated how IPTV performs in case of link failures on a Carrier Ethernet implementation. It is concluded that OAM update times of 10 ms is required to provide acceptable restoration performance in case of errors.

Abstract: Propagation of solitons in single-mode fibers with higher-order dispersion is considered under the influence of polarization mode dispersion (PMD). The behaviour of two partial pulses, evolved due to polarization mode dispersion, is investigated under the presence of higher-order dispersions namely soliton self-frequency shift (SSFS) and third-order dispersion (TOD). The coupled equations representing the propagation of optical pulse in single mode fiber with these higher-order dispersions are solved using split-step Fourier algorithm. It is found that the self-frequency shift degrades the stability of the soliton system to some extent, but the third-order dispersion not only degrades the stability but the resultant soliton deviates from its ideal position. It is also observed that, this deviation is considerably small when the optical pulse propagates at relatively far from the zero-dispersion wavelength. The pulse width of the resultant soliton and the separation!
between the maximum locations of two partial pulses is evaluated over the length of the fiber under the influence of third order dispersion.

Abstract: Thermal fatigue failures in reactor cooling systems of nuclear power plants are caused by the fluctuating stresses on a piping system due to the hot and cold flows are mixed together in a mixing piping. The present paper describes BSL Reynolds Stress (BSL-RSM) and k-epsilon (k-£`) simulation data of thermal mixing in a mixing piping compared with results from experimental data. The fluid in the experiment is concentration of de-ionized water and the liquid electrical conductivities are measured by the use of the 16¡Ñ16 electrode. To verify the mixing phenomenon between de-ionized water with different electrical conductivities and water with different temperatures, the inlet temperatures of the hot and cold water in the simulation process are set to 80¢J and 15¢J respectively. The analytic results calculated by the commercial CFD code ANSYS CFX 11.0 show that the different turbulence models¡]BSL-RSM, k-£`¡^and different turbulent Prandtl numbers¡]0.9, 0.2, 0.1¡^will!
affect the simulation results of temperature fluctuations. Since the coefficient of determination, R2, obtained by using Prt=0.1 for BSL-RSM turbulence mode is between 0.996 and 0.788, which is higher than that by using Prt=0.2 and Prt=0.9, the perditions for smaller turbulent Prandtl number are in better agreement with measurements. The absolute error, £], obtained by using BSL-RSM turbulence model at x=0.025m is smaller than that by using k-£` turbulence model. However, at x=-0.025m, the absolute error, £], obtained by using k-£` turbulence model is smaller than that by using BSL-RSM turbulence model. The computational results are in qualitative good agreement with experimental data that the mixing phenomenon of water with two different temperatures can be explained by de-ionized water with two different electrical conductivities.

Abstract: Abstract: - Adaptive and decentralized task assignment in non-uniform and possibly even non-stationary conditions with the aim of ensuring stability is especially challenging knowledge requirements in order to negotiate within and interact with uncertain and dynamic environments such as robot malfunctions or error propagation. Task assignment addresses to the problem of coordination both in on autonomous and interacting robot. In the scenarios for task assignment robots are embedded in the environment, there are strict constraints on communication, and most importantly tasks that robots should execute are perceived by the robot itself during the mission execution, thus conflicts on the task assignment process might arise. The internal representation of timing constraints on interaction has many implications for the reliability, effectiveness, efficiency, validity, schedulability and robustness of the mobile robot. The task assignment processes and its control imply!
ing reasoning about objects and resources and their changing states are dominated by either discrete or stochastic-event dynamics or both. Stationarity is an unrealistic prior assumption for the multi-state components of complex systems. The numerical characteristics of the nonstationary random responses of complex structure are developed in the paper considering the uncertainty and volatility of process transitions states. The appropriate functional levels of multi-state systems components are placed between the two extremes: defect (0%) and the nominal (100%) state, allowing any intermediate state transiting from the range of perfect functionality to complete failure. Time analysis interval of a multi-state system is characterized by intermediate states (states of partial success). The paper proposes a stochastic model of assessing system probability of unidirectional or bidirectional transition states, applying the non-homogeneous (non-stationary) Markov chain. The capab!
ility of timedependent method to describe a multi-state system is base
d on a case study, assessing the operatial situation of robotic system. The rationality and validity of the presented model are demonstrated via an example of quantitative assessment of states probabilities of an autonomous robot.

Abstract: As the transistor sizes continue to shrink, quantum effects will significantly affect the circuit behavior. The inherent unreliability of nano-electronics will have significantly impact on the way of circuits design, so defects and faults of nano-scale circuit technologies have to be taken into account early in the design of digital systems. Fault-tolerant architectures may become a necessity to ensure that the underlying circuit could function properly. In CAD software, a same logic can be made out with different circuits but different design methodology can reach different soft error tolerance ability, so we must find a way to estimate the error rate of the circuit efficiently to make the design more fault tolerant. Abstract: The well known fuzzy measures, £f-measure and P-measure, have only one formulaic solution. Two multivalent fuzzy measures with infinitely many solutions, L-measure and £_-measure, were proposed by our previous works, but the former do not include the additive measure as the latter and the latter has not so many measure solutions as the former, therefore, a composed fuzzy measure of above two measures, called -measure was proposed by our additional previous work. However, all of abovementioned fuzzy measures do not contain the largest measure, B-measure, which all not completed measures. In this paper, an improved completed fuzzy measure composed of maximized L-measure and £_-measure, denoted -measure, is proposed. For evaluating the Choquet integral regression models with our proposed fuzzy measure and other different ones, two real data experiments by using a 5-fold cross-validation mean square error (MSE) were conducted. The performances of Choquet integral re!

Abstract: In secret quantum communications the best eavesdropping attacks on quantum cryptography are based on imperfect cloning machines. The incoherent attack, based on quantum cloning, is the most common eavesdropping strategy. Using a probe, the eavesdropper imperfectly clones the sender’s quantum state which keeps one copy and sends the other. The physically allowed transformations of Eve’s quantum cloner on Bob’s qubit can be described in terms of Completely Positive (CP), trace preserving maps. The map of the quantum cloner compresses the Bloch-ball, as an affine map. This affine map has to be a complete positive, trace preserving map, which shrinks the Bloch ball. The effects of a quantum cloner can be given in tetrahedron representation. In this paper we show a new, quantum information theoretical representation of eavesdropping detection, focused on the Four-state (BB84) and Six-state quantum cryptography protocols. We use a fundamentally new computational g!
eometrical method to analyze the informational theoretical impacts of cloning activity on the quantum channel. The proposed algorithm uses Delaunay tessellation and convex hull calculation on the Bloch sphere, with respect to quantum relative entropy as distance measure. The improved core-set approach can be used to analyze efficiently the informational theoretical impacts of physically allowed quantum cloning attacks.

Abstract: Model-to-Model mapping has several advantages over relational mapping. In model-to-model mapping an active correspondence is kept between two pairs of models. This is facilitated if graphical models are used. UML 2 activities are based on Petri net like semantics and substantial literature exists explaining their conversion into Petri nets. This paper explains how UML 2 activities can be formally mapped into Petri nets or Petri net semantics from a theoretical, practical and operational point of view adding on previous work of Triple Graph Grammars (TGGs). UML activity constructs are classified and identified. This is useful for creating a basic set of TGG rules. Generic TGG rules are identified and created. The rules are mainly intended for forward transformation. An example is given illustrating the conversion process. The concepts presented can be elaborated further and even extended to other visual models or notations.

Abstract: Knowledge integration is fundamental in the Semantic Web roadmap; it consists in the process of assembling pieces of data from different sources to provide the user with complete information about a given domain. We present and compare the two main approaches to knowledge integration, namely data warehousing and query rewriting. In the scenario of the Semantic Web, in which knowledge is spread across the web and data sources can be connected one to each other is almost any way, query rewriting mediation has some advantages over the more commonly adopted data warehousing. In this paper we show that, if formal ontologies are used to describe the schema of each node, ontological reasoning can be used in schema mapping and the system can automatically translate global queries into subqueries to be passed to other nodes. We present ONTO Force as a prototype of knowledge network platform, that uses an extension of SPARQL language for knowledge manipulation.

Abstract: The partial Noether operators and partial Euler-Lagrange equations are developed for a system of kth-order ordinary differential equations (ODEs) in the complex domain with the help of complex partial Lagrangians. A complex partial Noether theorem is deduced and the formula which provides the complex first integral is equivalent to the complex Noether integral. These complex partial Noether operators, in general, are not complex symmetries of systems of complex ODEs and they are not closed. Abstract: This paper describes a development strategy with peripheral water flood for a large oil bearing carbonate reservoir in part of the Persian Gulf oil reservoirs. it is explained how the sensitivity assessment and risk analysis can be used to identify the most dominating risk component(s) with respect to the field productivity and capability of meeting the oil production target. Once these dominating risk components become known, we could: a) further optimize the field development by properly formulating the drilling and completion strategy, b) re-prioritize the data acquisition and reservoir characterization program to lessen the uncertainties and further minimize the risks. Then we have used the Experimental Design Methodology to shorten the number of simulation runs required for sensitivity assessment and risk analysis. The probability analyses identify and rank the most sensitive parameters that help in field development: maximize the exposure to the reservoir com!
ponents that bring positive impact and minimize those that have the negative impact on field recovery and economics. The most sensitive parameters with respect to oil recovery are identified for reassessment and further improvement and optimization of the development plan. Data acquisition program, reservoir performance evaluation and production injection strategies are conducted with these sensitivities in mind. They are executed with the highest priorities given to the most sensitive parameters.

Abstract: Due to widespread use of petroleum products, the number of petroleum-contaminated site has abounded. Natural attenuation, which relies on in situ biodegradation of pollutants, has received a large number of attentions, especially for petroleum contamination. Therefore in this research three type of samples, Diesel oil, Crude oil and Hexadecane, were chosen and oil degrading microorganisms were enriched by mineral media. The main strategies in bioremediation of oil spills, which include bio-stimulation, nutrient application, bio-augmentation, seeding with competent or adapted hydrocarbonoclastic bacteria or their consortium, and genetically engineered microbes, are reviewed. Although the promise of bioremediation is yet to be realized, innovative areas in environmental biotechnology for oil spill clean-up are highlighted. By checking the biodegradative ability of oil-degrading microorganisms on individual hydrocarbon we showed that total bacterial could decompose in!
termediate chain length easily and very fast. Results shows that cultures amended with complex hydrocarbon mixtures (diesel and crude oil) never managed to remove more than 80% of the initial amount. In contrast, cultures with the individual pure compounds (hexadecane) at any of the tested concentrations removed more than 80% of the initial amount. The treatment achieved the maximum biodegradation of the pure compounds because abiotic losses of hydrocarbons in some treatments approached 20% of the initial compound added

Title of the Paper: An Efficient Approach Based On Trust and Reputation for Secured Selection of Grid Resources
Authors as they appear in the Paper:

Number of paper pages: 11
Abstract: Security is a principal concern in offering an infrastructure for the formation of general purpose computational grids. A number of grid implementations have been devised to deal with the security concerns by authenticating the users, hosts and their interactions in an appropriate fashion. Resource management systems that are sophisticated and secured are inevitable for the efficient and beneficial deployment of grid computing services. The chief factors that can be problematic in the secured selection of grid resources are the wide range of selection and the high degree of strangeness. Moreover, the lack of a higher degree of confidence relationship is likely to prevent efficient resource allocation and utilization. In this paper, we present an efficient approach for the secured selection of grid resources, so as to achieve secure execution of the jobs. This approach utilizes trust and reputation for securely selecting the grid resources. To start with, the self-!
protection capability and reputation weightage of all the entities are computed and based on those values, the Trust Factor (TF) of all the entities are determined. The reputation weightage of an entity is the measure of both the user's feedback and other entities' feedback. Those entities with higher TF values are selected for the secured execution of jobs. To make the proposed approach more comprehensive, a novel method is employed for evaluating the user's feedback on the basis of the existing feedbacks available regarding the entities. This approach is proved to be scalable for an increased number of user jobs and grid entities. The experimentation portrays that this approach offers desirable efficiency in the secured selection of grid resources.

Abstract: Ethernet as a transport technology has, up to now, lacked the features such as network layer architecture, customer separation and manageability that carriers require for wide-scale deployment. However, with the advent of PBB-TE and T-MPLS, it is now possible to use Ethernet as a transport technology, making the use of Ethernet as a convergence layer for Next Generation Networks a distinct possibility. Triple Play services, in particular IPTV, are expected to be a main drivers for carrier Ethernet, however, a number of challenges must be addressed including QoS enabled control plane, enhanced OAM functions, survivability and the increased bandwidth requirements of carrier class systems. This article provides an overview of PBB-TE and T-MPLS and demonstrates how IPTV services can be realized in the framework of Carrier Ethernet. In addition we provide a case study on performing bit error rate (BER) measurements on the aggregated 100G stream.

Abstract: Hypercubes, meshes, and tori are well known interconnection networks for parallel computing. The Supercube network is a generalization of the hypercube. The main advantage of this network is that it has the same connectivity and diameter as that of the hypercube without the constraint that the number of nodes be a power of 2. This paper proposes novel algorithms of fault-tolerant meshes and tori embedded in supercubes with node failures. The main results obtained (1) a replacing sequence of a supercube is including approximate to ( +1) nodes. Therefore, there are O( ) faults, which can be tolerated. (2) The result implies that optimal simulation of mesh and torus in a faulty supercube for balancing the processor and communication link loads at present. According to the result, we can easily port the parallel or distributed algorithms developed for these structures to the supercubes. Therefore, these methods of reconfiguring enable extremely high-speed parallel comp!

Abstract: Aero engine components are often subjected to high stress levels and vibrations during operation. The mechanical integrity of these machined components may be compromised by the presence of burrs and sharp edges. Therefore the removal of burrs and the creation of rounded edges is necessary. To do this manually is time consuming and costly and may have potential quality issues. The application of robots to deburring has been limited by the difficulties in achieving the required degree of quality, controlling reaction forces during metal removal and the lack of tooling designed specifically for robots. The work presented in this paper introduces an efficient robotic deburring method, which is developed based on generation real-time robotic deburring path. The approach uses an in-process measurement sensor to determine the component's exact location prior to the deburring operation. The core of the system is a set of algorithms capable of fitting and generating the !
required robot path relative to the feature to be profiled. Reducing the reliance on accurate dedicated part holding fixtures and uses laser guided robot ensures the developed deburring system is highly flexible and re-configurable. The paper describes the development of deburring process for a simple straight edge feature and its application to more complex ones. The algorithms were evaluated using representative test pieces made from Titanium, RR1000 and super CMV alloys using a spindle attached to an industrial robot.

Abstract: Equalization plays an important role for the communication system receiver to correctly recover the symbol send by the transmitter, where the received signals may contain additive noise and intersymbol interference (ISI). Blind equalization is a technique of many equalization techniques at which the transmitted symbols over a communication channel can be recovered without the aid of training sequences, recently blind equalizers have a wide range of research interest since they do not require training sequence and extra bandwidth, but the main weaknesses of these approaches are their high computational complexity and slow adaptation, so different algorithms are presented to avoid this nature. The conventional Cross Correlation Constant Modulus Algorithm (CC-CMA) suffers from slow convergence rate corresponds to various transmission delays especially in wireless communication systems, which require higher speed and lower bandwidth. To overcome that, several adaptive!
algorithms with rapid convergence property are proposed based upon the cross-correlation and constant modulus (CC-CM) criterion, namely the recursive least squares (RLS) version of the CC-CMA (RLS-CC-CMA). This paper proposes a new blind equalization technique, the Exponential Weighted Step-size Recursive Cross Correlation CMA (EXP-RCC-CMA), which is based upon the Exponentially Weighted Step-size Recursive Least Squares (EXP-RLS) and the Recursive Cross Correlation CMA (RCC-CMA) methods, by introducing several assumptions to obtain higher convergence rate, minimum Mean Squared Error (MSE), and hence better receiver performance in digital system. Simulations studies show the rate of convergence, the mean square error (MSE), and the average error versus different signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) with the other related blind algorithms.

This class of matrices includes idempotent, Nilpotent, and involutary matrices, and more. It turns out that the matrices in this group are best distinguished by their associated eigen-structures. Abstract: We have a new model for understanding the behavior of prime numbers that considers the increments as sums of second derivatives. We use the perfectly alternating double-threaded helix prime number growth structure that dominated the first 500 prime numbers after a modulo 6 operation. The multiples of 6 influence the two threads in a 3-D manner. Electromagnetic reversal patterns between the threads and the thread bonds indicate a coordinated 3-D multi-physics growth rate of the prime numbers. The harmonic patterns of a newly mapped 10-step model are also introduced. This new concept is presented as a framework to help apply approaches to understanding and solving our hardest multi-physics and Millennium problems. The last sections of this paper suggest how to apply, adapt, or correlate this framework to with WSEAS research. An exciting electromagnetic multidirectional vector model is the result of applying this framework by forcing a 90-degree molecular bond concept.
