Abstract: Genetic algorithms are very flexible in the choice of an objective function. Simulated annealing is an intelligent approach designed to give a good thought not necessarily optimal solution, within a reasonable computation time. Tabu search is basically a kind of neighbourhood search method. Starting from an initial solution, it finds the best solution in the neighbourhood of the given initial solution. Then, taking the best solution as the new initial solution, tabu search repeats the above step as long as it seems necessary. Based on the above basic ideas, tabu search adopts several intelligent strategies to improve its search procedure. The network programming formulated as genetic algorithm, simulated annealing and tabu search. This paper shows genetic algorithms, simulated annealing and tabu search to implement for solving network problems compared with constructing mathematical programming formulations, because they are a very simple matter to implement a new !
cost function and solution constraints when using a GA, SA and TS. Finally, a new experimental analysis for network programming is presented.
