Abstract: This article describes preparation and verification of particular part of the model for heat distribution. Presented improvement focuses on heat supplies proposal which is based on seeking and identification of days with similar outdoor temperature behavior. The model of distribution system for heat consumption was prepared but the main questions, for real system management as well as for simulation, still remain: When, how much and in what heat condition to deliver into the urban agglomeration? The first and simplest answer could be the similar conditions as we used yesterday or better, day alike the one we want to control now. The main task of heat supply systems is to maintain all needs associated with heat consumption. From the information we had got from previous (similar) day, the new control could starts. The idea is to make the model more precise and offer resources to improve existing control, for more accurate function.

Abstract: n the present article, we construct the exact traveling wave solutions of nonlinear PDEs in the mathematical physics via the (1+1)- dimensional Boussinesq equation by using the following two methods: (i) A further improved (G G)􀀀 expansion method, where G = G() satis…es the auxiliary ordinary di¤erential equation [G0()]2 = aG2()+ bG4() + cG6(); where = x 􀀀 V t while a; b; c and V are constants. (ii) The well known extended tanh- function method. We show that some of the exact solutions obtained by these two methods are equivalent. Note that the …rst method (i) has not been used by anyone before which gives more exact solutions than the second method (ii

Abstract: This paper regards initial value problem for second order impulsive integro-differential equations as some nonlinear vector system. By means of the M\"{o}nch's fixed point theorem, some existences of solutions of the initial value problem is established. The results are newer than all of the previous ones because of the more general form compactness-type condition and the weaker restriction of its coefficients. An example is given to demonstrate our results. Annotation shows that our method can be used to solve the impulsive boundary value problems.

Abstract: Multipath fading is the major problem facing any wireless communications system. Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is considered efficient solution for mitigating fading distortion especially frequency selective type. LTE and WiMAx families are based on OFDM technology which is the main reason for those systems high efficiency. In this paper two techniques will be joined in order to mitigate distortion caused by multipath frequency selective fading channel. Channel estimation and equalization are necessary processes when the channel is time variant, as usual for most wireless channels. System performance has been analyzed based on BER level obtained at the receiving end versus variation in SNR at different system situations. Simulation of the proposed system has been done using computer software and results will be displayed in form of set of curves and tables.

Abstract: The paper is focused on development of a mathematical model of valves of a hydraulic system. Laboratory three tank model (Amira DTS200) was investigated and characteristics of its valves were measured. Consequently, the process of creating a mathematical model of the valves is described in detail. The three tank system is a classical modeling task but this paper focuses on nonlinearities which are present in real system and other differences between ideal mathematical model and real-time system. Especially hysteresis represents a big difference between ideal mathematical model and real-time system. Even thought all valves the system is equipped with are of the same type, big differences were observed between their characteristics. The approach to modeling of the system is not restricted to the particular system but can be used for many real-time hydraulic systems.

Abstract: Deep insight on the flow physics driving the surface heat transfer phenomena in impingement cooling configurations is possible by the use of CFD simulations. Under the current work the main flow features affecting the heat transfer in a particular impingement cooling configuration used in a low pressure turbine vane were investigated by a numerical simulation. The particular impingement cooling system is representative of the one used for cooling the leading edge of a contra-rotating Power Turbine (PT) vane representative of a small turboshaft engine. Existing experimental results were used for code validation. Comparison of results is performed in terms of heat transfer surface distributions, impingement rows stagnation line local distributions and streamwise distributions along planes over the impingement stagnation points. The CFD results present local deviations in the heat transfer compared with experimental results although the surface averaged value is well !
matched. Additional flow features having a significant effect on the obtained surface heat transfer results were investigated . In particular the generation of impingement and ejection stagnation regions and their effect in the local maxima and minima observed on the surface heat transfer is analyzed

Abstract: This paper introduces modified versions of the K-Means (KM) and Moving K-Means (MKM) clustering algorithms, called the Two-Dimensional K-Means (2D-KM) and Two-Dimensional Moving K-Means (2D-MKM) algorithms respectively. The performances of these two proposed algorithms are compared with three of the commonly used conventional clustering algorithms, namely K-Means (KM), Fuzzy C-Means (FCM), and Moving K-Means (MKM). The new algorithms incorporate the median value of considered pixel intensity with its neighboring pixel; together with the pixel's own intensity for the assigning process of the pixel to the nearest cluster. From the observed qualitative and quantitative results, it is proven that 2D-KM and 2D-MKM perform better than KM, FCM, and MKM in terms of producing more homogeneous segmentation results, while taking shorter time in executing the process as compared to FCM.

Abstract: New hybrid steepest descent algorithms which are different from Yamada's hybrid steepest descent algorithms are proposed for solving variational inequalities defined on the common fixed points set of infinite nonexpansive mappings. As the extensions of our main results , algorithms are also given for solving variational inequalities defined on the common fixed points set of infinite strict pseudo-contractions.

Abstract: Considering full Logistic proliferation of CD4+ T-cells and retarded immune response, we analyze a HIV model in this paper. Global asymptotic stability of the infection-free equilibrium and immune-absent equilibrium is investigated, and Some conditions for Hopf bifurcation around infected equilibrium to occur are also obtained by using the time delayed as a bifurcation parameter. Numerical simulating are presented to illustrate the main results, and we can observe the effects of the proliferation rate of CD4+ T-cells for the dynamics of system. This results can explain the complexity of the immune state of AIDS.

Abstract: In most models of population dynamics, changes in population due tobirth or harvesting are assumed to be time-independent, but manyspecies reproduce or be caught only during a single period of the year. A single species stage-structured model with density-dependent maturation rate and birth pulse and harvesting pulse is formulated. Using the discrete dynamical system determined by its Poincare'map, we report a detailed study of the various dynamics, including (a) existence and stability of nonnegative equilibria, (b) period doubling and period halfing, (c) intermittency and crisis, (d)nonunique dynamics, meaning that several attractors coexist, (e)chaotic attractors. The occurrence of these complex dynamic behaviours is related to the fact that minor changes in parameter or initial values can strikingly change the dynamic behaviours of the system. Further, it is shown that periodic birth pulse or periodic harvesting pulse, in effect, provides a natural period or c!
yclicity that allows multiple oscillatory solutions in the continuous dynamical systems. Finally, we compare the dynamic behaviour of system when u is used by bifurcation parameter with that of b

Abstract: A model for designing desktop virtual environments is presented. The model considers principles of user-centred design and leaner-centred design to integrate a design process that better meets the needs of the learner. The design process is illustrated in the context of prototyping a virtual environment for teaching safety information. Main stages of the design process are described in detail and practical recommendations are given. Design implications derived from evaluation are described in terms of virtual environments usability issues. Results suggest that principles of user-centred design and learner-centred design should be considered as complementary paradigms in order to design usable applications for learning.

Abstract: In this paper, the mean square exponential stability of the periodic solution problems of stochastic Cohen-Grossberg-Type BAM neural networks with delays are investigated. By constructing suitable Lyapunov function and applying Itˆo formula, integral mean-value theorem , Poincar´e mapping, we give several sufficient conditions to guarantee the mean square exponential stability of the periodic solution problems of system. An illustrative example is also given in the end to show the effectiveness of our results.

Abstract: A two-competing-predator and one-prey system with diffusion is proposed and studied. We consider that the system is time-periodic, and characterized by logistic prey growth, a Holling III functional response for one predator, and a Beddington -DeAngelis functional response for the other predator. By means of the property of periodic parabolic operators, Schauder estimates and global bifurcation theory, the coexistence state of time-periodic solutions for this reaction-diffusion equation model are investigated. The necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of positive periodic solutions are obtained.

Abstract: We have implemented the somewhat homomorphic scheme from [16]. We examined this scheme in the same way as mentioned in [16] and extend the results for a wider set of parameters and also increased the number of repetitions for each test. We focused on the dependencies between the largest supported degree and various parameters of the cryptosystem, specially also the encryption parameter q. We show that the probability q significantly influences the overall effectiveness of the scheme and that the growth of the supported degree doesn't grow linearly with the parameter t (strictly) and we give an explanation for this fact.

Abstract: The paper highlights the problem of mathematical modelling of the sample logistic production system where production stands are arranged in series. The production stands are equipped with tools which are used during the production process. If a tool is completely worn out, it needs to be replaced or regenerated. The problem consists in determining the best order realization sequence in order to minimize the total production time. The idea of time scaling by means of the simulation method is proposed in order to determine the best possible order realization time. Heuristic algorithms are used to control the production process. The criteria are given to either maximize the production output or minimize the lost flow capacity of the production stands or minimize the tool replacement time. A possibility of simulation of such production systems is outlined.

Abstract: The paper deals with utilization of Ethernet interface of microcontroller MC9S12NE64 in automatic control of hide soaking process. Microcontrollers are widely used in small or medium size technological processes. Microcontroller is usable for controlling the process described in this paper. The presented algorithm was developed to optimize the soaking process and prevent structural damage of hides that occurs while the hide is sunk and washed in plain water. Such damage is caused by large osmotic pressure that tears the fine structure of the hide. The algorithm was fully implemented into the microcontroller which controls the whole process. The Ethernet interface was used for interconnection with a computer. Web server is also part of the microcontroller so that the whole application is saved in the microcontroller`s flash memory. The computer only requires installation of a common web browser to provide successful communication with the microcontroller.

Abstract: This paper deals with a design, construction and practical testing of a VU meter driver that includes an accurate rectifier and logarithmical driver of a pointer-type gauge. The logarithm is taken from the rectified signal by employing a capacitor discharge voltage curve. Several software simulations were made in order to proof the circuit design. Then a simple rectifier and logarithmiser was designed and built in order these simulations were proved and afterwards, based on the gained experience, the more complex design of the VU meter driver was created. The paper incorporates mathematical description of the circuit, simulation results and results gained when the simple driver circuit underwent several physical tests as well as further propositions for practical extensions of the designed circuit

Abstract: A type of coupled map lattice (CML) is considered in this paper. What we want to do is to define the form of a travelling wave solution and to reveal its existence. Due to the infinite property of the problem, we have tried the periodic case, which can be dealt with on a finite set. The main approach for our study is the implicit existence theorem. The results indicate that if the parameters of the system satisfy some exact conditions, then there exists a periodic travelling wave solution in an exact neighborhood of a given one. However, these conditions are sufficient, but not necessary. In particular, the exact 2-periodic travelling wave solutions are also obtained. It gives some examples for the conditions of parameters, 2-periodic travelling wave solutions exist when these conditions are satisfied.

Abstract: The aim of this contribution is to revise and extend results about stability and stabilization of a retarded quasipolynomial and systems obtained using the Mikhaylov criterion in our papers earlier. Not only retarded linear time-invariant time-delay systems (LTI-TDS) are considered in this paper; neutral as well as distributed-delay systems are the matter of the research. A LTI-TDS system of retarded type is said to be asymptotically stable if all its poles rest in the open left half plane. Asymptotic stability of neutral systems described by its spectrum is not sufficient to express the notion of stability at whole since neutral LTI-TDS are sensitive to infinitesimal delay changes. This yields the concept of so called strong stability involving this fact. Moreover, stability can not be studied using the characteristic quasipolynomial when distributed delays in either input-output or internal relation appear in a model. The contribution transforms the formulation o!
f the Mikhaylov criterion (the argument principle) into the language of the Nyquist criterion for the open loop of a control system. The classical simple feedback loop is considered. Illustrative examples are presented to clarify the results.

Abstract: The paper reveals the possible sources of interference that can disrupt the function of inputs and outputs of embedded systems or interfere with correct interpretation of the input signals or the possibility of complete destruction of input and output circuits by these interferences. The issue of capping limits for analog signals with linear optocoupler and also use of designed limit voltage limiters are solved as well. In the last part the measured static and dynamic limiters characteristics are measured and linear optocoupler is described mathematically. The research work was performed to financial support of grant reg. Abstract: Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) solutions require availability of the secure seamless communications solutions and coverage of the widely spread areas is typically demanded. Different solutions require different levels of the telecommunications service quality. These parameters are linked with ITS service performance parameters used to quantify services parameters. Even though quite extensive range of wireless data services with reasonable coverage are provided by public telecommunications providers practically all services are provided with no guaranteed data service quality and security. ITS requirements can be better resolved if typically used public solution can be combined with both other public and private services where and when it is needed. Such solution requires implementation of the relevant flexible system architecture supported by the efficient decision processes. This paper is, however, primarily concentrated on the telecommunications security is!
sues quantified by specific security performance parameter. Level of telecommunications service security depends on the ITS service requirement and its mutual relation is not typically trivial to be identified. "Car to Infrastructure" and "Car to Car" communication as well as vehicles on board data communication via Controlled Area Network (CAN) bus are areas with progressive growth of transferred data volumes. Such type of networking increase potential of the appearance of the intruder attacks, namely, if the security of the wide area networks is not carefully enough treated. Probability of hazards appearances principally grows if these networks are integrated in the dynamically organized wide area ones. That is also reason why relevant telecommunications security treatment is more and more understood as the crucial part of the ITS telecommunications solution. Besides of available "off shelf" security tools solution based on the non-public universal identifier with dynam!

Abstract: The study intends to tackle in an interdisciplinary, respectively geographic â€" environmental, botanical, economic, and cultural-artistic manner, the subject of the information “offer”, other than the religious one, of five churches with exterior frescoes belonging to some Romanian monasteries. This mural work was selected according to the mural vegetal criteria (trees, shrubs, plants from the spontaneous or cultivated flora) and criteria concerning the type of landscape generated only by vegetation and also by the other natural or anthropic components of that particular place. Also, we had in view whether the environment in which the monastery complexes provide enough information regarding the influence of the medieval painters and the depiction of the influence in the scenes painted. The artistic considerations together with the scientific ones related to the frescoes could be filtered and synthesised so that the result is a possible detection of an ecumenic!

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to discuss development of the EU cohesion policy and its efficiency. This policy has become the core policy among EU economic policies. Regional disparities have become a debated topic in the last decades and this paper also deals with the development of regional income disparities and the convergence process in selected EU Member States. Emphasis is placed on selected new Member States (Visegrad group). The first part of the paper offers a review of the EU cohesion policy evolution, the second part deals with different approaches to measurement of regional disparities. Regional trends are measured mainly using a variety of approaches – the coefficient of variation, the Herfindahl index, the Geographic concentration index and the Theil index. The third part of the paper is based on empirical data and calculations of the indexes or the coefficients. Using gross domestic product and gross domestic product per capita in purchasing power stand!
ard data paper examines trends in regional disparities at the level NUTS 2 during the period 1996-2007. The analysis shows a significant convergence process and a perceptible increase in regional disparities in the case of new Member States.
