Abstract: ABSTRACT: Municipalities as a symbol of urban services to citizens are a key element of governments to provide satisfactory services to citizens. Hence the use of new technologies in the form of electronic municipal projects has been Attention of the authorities in the last few years. Hence seems to be something important, reviews the progress of these projects. In this paper, have been evaluated rate realizations of e-municipality in Iran with regard to the characteristics of Web sites of Provincial municipalities and the city. for evaluating of characteristics of Web sites of Provincial municipalities and the city has been used four-stage model of e-municipality of Layneh .Research findings indicate that the total municipalities in the provincial capitals and cities are located in the early stage s of e-municipality. Also, large cities of city centers have state better than small towns and sparsely populated
