Abstract: Malaria is the most important parasitic disease and one of the important hygienic problems of some countries, especially the tropical countries of the world. This disease manifests itself as a severe infection (which in most cases is critical, and sometimes along with the features of intermittent fever and shivers), anemia, enlargement of the spleen, and sometimes as other minor or fatal characteristics. The importance of this disease results from its extensive prevalence and the considerable number of fatalities it causes. Every year, more than 225 million new cases of malaria are added to those already present; and the World Health Organization reported in 2010 that every year about 781000 people lose their lives due to this disease. This figure accounts for 2.23% of the total number of yearly deaths in the world. With this in mind, we have designed an expert system which, depending on the values of the inputs given to the deduction engine, can be very effective !
in recognizing hypophosphatemia in malaria.
