Abstract: The track estimation of not-cooperated target is difficult in space target tracking. Most researchers are accustomed to focusing their attention on the measurements from target itself. In a typical situation, there are one cooperated target and many not-cooperated targets. All targets can be measured by one same sensor synchronously in a common clutter environment while the cooperated target has additional accurate locating data. A new method of measurement error transfer and correction was proposed based on the supposition of error correlation. The conception, principle and technique of this method were researched. All algorithms of key procedures were built. Simulation results show that the measurement error of cooperated target can be transferred to not-cooperated target in order to correct its measurement error if the errors are from the same sensor synchronously. It is also concluded that the accuracy of measurement of the later can be improved remarkably if t!
he error correlation is high.
