Abstract: Abstract Governments worldwide are adopting E-Government to improve their services to businesses and citizens, promoting economic and social development, and enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of government operations. E-Governments can make public services more convenient to citizens, reduce costs and attract investment to their countries. In Jordan, E-Government is a national program that is initiated by His Majesty King Abdullah II. Like other initiatives, it has opportunities and challenges that should be taken into consideration throughout the implementation phase. In this paper, these opportunities and challenges will be investigated by means of informal questionnaires. One thousand questionnaires had been distributed to the private, public, and educational sectors to explore the Jordanians needs of E-Government services and to find out the reasons why they still do not trust in E-Government.
