Abstract: The paper analyses the strategies in a programme concerning the integration of social software technologies in drawing up literary translations as instrument of the European integration and cultural communication. Initiated by prof. dr. Lidia Vianu (English Department of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures - the University of Bucharest) in cooperation with poetry p f, a growing showcase of poets writing in English, the project represents a fundamental research in the domain of literary texts translation. The paper analyses the way in which this project connects the formative aspect of the research with the institutional aspect, with the problems of professional conversion, of flexibility, of competence (not only linguistic competence but also, generally, cultural and social competence), of the open learning and of the problems risen by the e-Learning.
