Abstract: Recreational sports has became the modern people¡¦s new standard for perusing health and better quality of life. If teaching staffs could participate more in recreational sports, it will promote better health, relief stress, and fuel the motive for teaching. This study is designed to evaluate the influential factors and relative weights of personal preference and external environment by applying a hybrid MCDM model combining DEMATEL with ANP methods. The purpose of this study is to provide an empirical to demonstrate how the MCDM model can be applied on enhancing the recreation sports participation and find the important factors that can enhance recreation sports participation and then select the best recreation sports that can enhance teacher to participate in. In the results, external environment is determined to be the most important dimensions should be improved, in the seven evaluation criteria, ¡§psychology¡¨ is the most important factors to be first conside!
