Abstract: This paper presents an approach for identifying and controlling the greenhouse climate based on the fuzzy logic techniques. At the first part, we have used the fuzzy clustering and iterative fuzzy modelling procedures using multi-dimensional fuzzy sets. This method generates a fuzzy partition of the process and of its associated Takagi-Sugeno sets of rules from measured data. Afterwards, the consequent parameters of fuzzy model are adapted by a local recursive weighted least-square algorithm. In the second part, we propose a fuzzy controller to guarantee the specified and the tracking performance. Simulation results show that the proposed strategy can be applied successfully to identify and to control the greenhouse climate.
