Abstract: The main objective of this study is to presents the overview ideas on the infrastructure planning of hydrogen energy in Malaysia as potential future use of hydrogen as an energy carrier in the transportation sector. Finally the results will give the most optimum hydrogen network in Malaysia. The hydrogen demand are assuming that the hydrogen demand in Peninsular Malaysia as a function of total vehicle numbers, average total distance traveled, and vehicle fuel economy. The optimum network in this study considered the type of transportation and storage. For this study, the results obtained for optimum hydrogen supply network and transportation consider liquid hydrogen using a tank truck as the lowest cost investment.
