Abstract: Abstract: Analysis of heart rate variation (HRV) has become a popular noninvasive tool for assessing the activities of the autonomic nervous system into two categories one having the risk of sudden cardiac death and the other not having the risk .Heart rate variability refers to the beat to-beat variation in heart rate (HR) and is modulated largely by the autonomic nervous system via changes in the balance between parasympathetic and sympathetic influences. Since short-term variations in HR reflect sympathetic nervous activity, they provide useful non-invasive markers for assessing autonomic control under various physiologic states and conditions. The graphical tools used to represent the nonlinearity are Poincare plots, Recurrence plots, Lorenz plots and Difference plots. To highlight the variations in HRV signals, and to quantify the nonlinearity, nonlinear measures such as Approximate Entropy and Cross approximate entropy are used.. The present paper gave the re!
sults of analysis using the graphical tools such as Poincareplots, Recurrenceplots and Lorenz plots which were drawn with the available data applied to the tools which are available for analysis..The algorithm and implementation of only difference plots was done using Labview and it is compared with the remaining graphs and alsowith the measures of quantification. The results are showed next. The recurenceplots online.com was used to plot the recurrence plots.Wsess.com is used to plot Lorenz plots," HRV ANALYSIS SOFTWARE" was used to plot Poincare plots with the data.The difference plots were plotted by writing the code using Labview. The algorithm for entropies are wrote and implemented using Clanguage. Using the above mentioned methods the ECG data was classified into two categories ashaving presence of cardiac risk or not for the subjects having some illness related to ANS.
