Abstract: In the framework of urban environmental control, it is necessary to know the effect of different types of pollutants on air and water quality. The precipitation is the main factor of water circulation, so it can contribute to the pollutants transportation from atmosphere into the soil and surface water. In order to determine if the air pollutants have a major impact on the quality of surface water, in an urban area, we developed a study on Constanta city, Romania. In this paper we present the results of the analysis of annual and monthly indicators of the rainwater quality and the study of correlation between the rainwater indicators and the Tăbăcărie Lake quality indicators.
