Abstract: The article presents research aimed at exploration of information and commutative technologies at the primary schools in the Czech Republic. The research was aimed at work with ICT of the 1st level of elementary school teachers and on self evaluation of skills of work with ICT. It followed from the research that the most used are Microsoft Office programmes, but teachers work even with freely distributed programmes, especially Firefox. Teachers were divided in 4 groups from the viewpoint of work with programmes. The younger teachers evaluate themselves better from the view of self evaluation of skills than the older ones. According to their opinion teachers master best text processor, followed by the programme for creating presentation and the lowest skills are demonstrated in work with table processor.
