Abstract: Web service discovery is one of the challenging problems of Web service provisioning. This entails the need to establish an effective and consistent process of Web service discovery. This paper presents a new approach for finding and ranking relevant Web ser-vices for a user query by combining the Growing Hierarchical Self-Organizing map (GHSOM) with Latent Semantic Indexing. The overall architecture of the approach is described followed by proto-type system implementation and evaluation results.
