Abstract: The multi-attribute decision making problems with missing attribute values (consequences) are usually encountered in practical applications. In this paper, a DS-PROMETHEE method is proposed for these problems based on the Dempster-Shafer theory of evidence and the PROMETHEE II method. The basic probability assignments are calculated using the preference functions in PROMETHEE II approach, and the Dempster¡¯s rule of combination is used to aggregate them with respect to different decision attributes. Furthermore, the belief interval values are compared to rank all the alternatives or select the most preferable one. Finally, a practical example on the selection of customer for an energy service company is given to illustrate the proposed method.
