Abstract: Agents and multi-agent systems are an emergent technology and the agent paradigm is expected to give an impetus to all e-business areas including e-commerce, logistics, marketing, manufacturing, recommender systems, tourism, negotiation, a.s.o. In this paper, we propose a comparative study of multi-agents in Trading Agents Competition, Classic. We will base our comparison for the strategies adopted by various agents on three important criteria concerning flight booking, hotel booking, and entertainment tickets buying. We also study the improvements, better strategies and potential weaknesses of each analysed agent, the advantages of alternatives like static market algorithms vs. dynamic market algorithms. We treat three agents that took part in the TAC Classic competition on which we will perform the analysis: Mertacor, Walverine, Roxy-Bot.
