Abstract: The design and realization of the spot data acquisition system based on zigbee protocol standard is a system to accomplish the communication between the wireless sensor motes and also with the sink through which the environmental data is sent to the workstation which is then used by the decision support system. The communication in the Wireless Sensor Network is achieved through the 802.15.4/Zigbee protocol. This paper also concentrates on another criterion in which the component-based development can make developers take full advantage of the existing components in the component library. This paper has researched the component-based development model and characteristics. For the shortcoming of traditional sensor networks protocol development model this paper gives out a method that the application components can call the underlying components directly. he middle layers which will preserve the resources. And after the test, at the end, it has been proved that the new method has a higher development efficiency and implementation efficiency than the process in which the middle level layers are used.
