Abstract: Currently, people are spending a lot of time, cost and effort in looking for and buying a house. Potential buyers usually approach housing developers by visiting sales offices to look for suitable houses, which is not a very convenient method. Therefore, this research paper will discuss a web-based house information system called WebHouse that can provide buyers and housing developers with two-way communication. The paper also discusses an enhanced feature of WebHouse, which is a virtual walk-through of houses in 3D-mode rather like a film. The first phase focuses on the development of WebHouse at Klang Valley, Selangor, in the centre of Malaysia. The results are a web-based housing information system that provides information about new residential and housing projects such as house models, price ranges, specifications and descriptions of each house, etc. The results of the questionnaires distributed to six housing developers and 50 potential house buyers are also !
