Abstract: Abstract: - The use of a organic solvent such as ethyl acetate as chemical treatment for the ridge lap area of the acrylic teeth in order to improve the bond strength at the denture base resin acrylic tooth interface and the relatively few sources in the literature regarding the effect of ethyl acetate on acrylic teeth were the reasons which have led to this study. The ridge lap area of 20 first upper acrylic molars (Spofa Dental complete denture kit) was milled to flat with a diamond disc. The 20 samples were randomly assigned in 2 groups, 10 sample each: 1. control group (no treatment) and 2.180 seconds ethyl acetate treatment group.All the 20 samples were submitted to the noninvasive SEM (scanning electron microscope) investigation with the a SEM: HITACHI TM3000 TableTop Scanning Electron Microscope.
